Only non-silent left.

Thanks man. Didn't catch that one. PM sendt, and no problem if it's the non-silent version. I can always swap the key caps from my regular silent.
-
You have to swap switches, not caps.
-
Swithches? I thought the thing was the color scheme? There aren't any other differences as I know. If the key caps are interchanged - it would leave the original with the Aniversary colored switches. If the case is also a different color, then why not swap all the internals. Anyways - where there's a will, there's a way. Thanks for elaborating. C

What makes them silent are the switches, not the keycaps.
Wait do you just want this board for the keycaps? If so, disregard what I said. I understand what you mean if that's the case.

I guess I misunderstood your intent. I thought you meant that by switching the key caps from your silent 87U, you'll make the anniversary board silent too. You can use the anniversary key caps on your silent board. I wouldn't bother switching the dark bluish gray anniversary case, it doesn't look nearly as good as the regular black. However, you will be missing the red LEDs from the anniversary board.

you can do what lister did and swap the top part of the case and the keycaps :)

Since they're identical layouts, it would be quite easy to swap the switches if you really wanted to keep the red LEDs. But to be honest, I think I'd rather have the blue ones.
EDIT: Not sure about plate colors either, didn't think about that. Again, swappable though since the boards are identical.

Elite Keyboards will have these back in stock mid January - that's what I heard from Brian.

These have never been sold on EK.

Will EK sell 10th anniversary edition? o.O
Btw, are the bluish keycaps on the 10th anniversary edition the blue realforce keycaps you can get on EK?

Doubt it and no.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Are you speaking to the color of the keycaps being special? Is that what makes this keyboard the 10th anniversary edition?

Trust me. Topre has discovered there is more money in selling colored keys and keychains than doing any actual engineering.
This makes perfect sense in light of the fact that Topre doesn't sell keychains.
