Yeah I wanted the mini 6 too, but it's a tad much I would have dropped $200 for it.

Optimus Aux is nice too but the keys are low quality keys compared to Mini Six and Popularis

The popularis concept came out a while ago.  June 2012???  Still cool I guess.  If it were easier to hold it could be the coolest htpc keyboard ever.

The mini six seems almost useless.  Key shortcuts? Maybe?  Geek-cred is probably the biggest draw.

I like the Mini Six so much but I'd rather spend the money on Topre.
But the geek-cred tempt me like mad.

Edit :  Geekhack should do a custom "programmable" keypad like the phantom.

I don't know why you would get a mini six at $300 when you could get the popularis for $1000

The Optimus Maximus used ML switch, not sure what these are using, but it looks to be similar to the chiclet  / scissor type to me. http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/popularis/

I remember one of the maximus reviews I have watched stating that it uses MX Brown and apparently a wrong choice for heavy keys maximus have.

Maximus and Aux are ML with interface for lcd.

New ones look like rubberdomes...

Atleast I guess so with the cut-diagram.
