Hey guys, looking to try Cherry Reds. Which would you go for?

I'd go for Rosewill because of the stabilizers.
-
I'd go Rosewill because of the spacebar.
-
I was facing this dilemma, but I bought the Leopold because the Rosewill logo is just so big and ugly.
Maybe I made a mistake, I have not used it yet, but they should really not try so hard !
-
I went with a Rosewill because of the price ($10 less than Leopold if you get it now with free shipping) and the stabilizers I hear are "better" than the Leopolds. I would have gone for Leopold Otaku otherwise.
-
My Rosewill with reds is ping free.
-
leopold!!!!

I have 2 of the Rosewills - the 2nd one has a very squeaky spacebar (can hear it outside of the office occasionally lol!) - I'll lube it one day, but reviewers on newegg have successfully RMA'd for such a thing. The USB connector leading into the keyboard is flimsy so be careful if you move it around too much - my 1st keyboard I had to hot glue the cable onto it as I was testing custom keyboard tray adjustments and I think I bumped it way too hard and the connector on the PCB side nearly came off haha!
Just don't abuse it like I did and the Rosewill should be fine. :)
-
I would love to see Neweggs RMA reports on this keyboard as it pertains to ping.
It falls under their standard return policy. 30 Days replacement, or refund (with restocking fee). They are very easy going about returns for most things.

If you are not much of a risk taker, Newegg's RMA service is hard to beat.

Question to those who have the RK-9000RE. My coworker bought one and when I compare it to my Filco with Cherry brown, I find the brown Cherries on my Filco to be lighter than the red Cherries on his Rosewill. Is it because one is linear and one is not?
-
If you don't mind the logo, go with the Rosewill.
-
For some unknown reason, filco r is back to pchome for 184$ shipped.
But one thing I am pretty sure, it won't last long...
-
I got the rosewill, and it's my current gaming keyboard. my wasdkeyboard key set tranasferred over with no fuss and I used the keycaps that came iwth the rosewill (because they feel great) on my das keyboard silent which is not at work.
-
I went from Filco browns to blacks, and wanted Filco reds but they are not readily available so I went with the Rosewill with reds. I read that the Rosewill is pretty much a Filco in terms of quality and having all 3 boards together at the same time, I can say that is true. If it were a blind test, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the two apart, well other than the obvious Rosewill/Filco logo. The only thing that's different are the keycaps. I like the Filco keycaps more as they are smoother and you can't feel the actual letters on the keys. I can feel the letters on the Rosewill keycaps, and I prefer them to be smooth, but of course that's not a deal breaker as I can switch out keycaps.
The brown had a weird tactile feel that's like between linear and tactile and I didn't like that as it felt weird typing and gaming on it so I went with blacks thinking it would be perfect because I thought the browns were too light. I was wrong. While the blacks felt great for gaming, it was too heavy for typing and I got tired very fast. Went with the Rosewill reds and it's exactly like the blacks but much much lighter. Much more comfortable to type on and they feel about as light as the browns, if not lighter because there's no tactile bump, so you'd just end up bottom out pretty easily. I do prefer blacks for gaming because it just feels better when say, I'm playing Battlefield 3 and I'm moving my soldier around, each key press feels like I'm really controlling him. With the reds it's nicer because I don't get fatigue compared to the blacks, but there would be times when I would have my finger resting on the A, not knowingly, and I'd be running straight and then keep running left and I'm like, "why am I running sideways? Oh opps, my finger was on A the whole time."
But of course, it all comes down to preference. Most people love browns, I do not.

I love browns, I love reds, and I love blues. Different places, though. Blues for starcraft are sublime, as are browns. I haven't gotten a good read on the reds yet, but the keycaps that came with my rosewill are on my das keyboard browns at work and I LOVE these caps. They're awesome and an upgrade over stock das keyboard caps.
( i have a custom key cap set from wasdkeyboards tailored for sc2 use and I love it and definitely better for sc2 use than the stock caps )

No TKL :-(
I can't tell if they had them again and sold out or just stocked the 104 ones again

I really like the coating on the Filco keys.
the coating is so soft that easy to wear

I'm going to be using this. My first mechanical keyboard was a Rosewill with red switches that I got for Christmas. Well, the USB connection on the board broke. It is less than confidence inspiring to say the least.

Me neither. For me it's: Reds > Blues == Blacks > Browns.
