Title: Spilled Coke Nightmare

I spilled a whole large glass of coke on my Cherry MX blue switch keyboard. I then immediately flipped it upside down so the coke would pour out of my board and onto my desk. After a clean up I flipped my board back over and it appears the coke that was spilled got into the caps once it was flipped, then into some of the switchs when it was flipped again. Now some of my keys feel like horrible rubber domes or even stiffer. I read a thread previously about someone who did the exact same thing, but a solution was never presented. So my question is, what do I do?

I have considered soaking it in water then letting it thoroughly dry for a day or two in the sun.

advice anyone?

Poor guy is probably freaking out right now. Seems like he might have to give that keyboard a bath to get rid of the stickiness. Hopefully he won't RMA the thing..

OP: If you do soak it in water, remember to not go through any drastic means to dry it. Don't apply too much heat, it might permanently warp the keyboard. And unless you're into that wasiwasabi thingy, you might not like it.
