I would guess that these have mx black switches.
-
I'm willing to bet those don't use Cherry switches at all. Tipro has made a lot of use out of OMRON and those look like OMRON switches:

These are MX black as per the spec sheet (http://www.tipro.si/pdf/mid_km128a.pdf).

Wow, we should try to GB these! 15 tipro matrix boards. Any idea what shipping one to the US would cost about?
I notice only 8 have cables: PS2
Thanks for the datasheet, Parak. I love datasheets.
-
As far as I know they use a ps/2 to ps/2 cable which can be obtained for tu dolla (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10204&cs_id=1020401&p_id=2537&seq=1&format=2).

That's not the same model. That is a modern model that Tipro sells now.

Ok searched the actual part no. "16625"
http://penta.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=662_677_1935&products_id=24742
Even though it is an older version of the model it appears to still be Cherry MX type switches.
I was wrong, sorry, carry on!

Thanks for finding the truth being skeptical far is better then starting a group buy only to find out that these are not cherry.
I for one would be very interested in buying one if we could find a buyer in the United Kingdom or continental Europe.
-
Plenty of Europeans and Americans here that I'm sure would purvey switches for you otherwise.
Perhaps you could make a post in classifieds "WTB: Cherry MX Blacks."
-
Personally I already have a black board that I am in the process of swapping out keys from. Therefore I am in it more for the cost and the ability to program the whole board as well the ability to swap mx switches if you are willing to put a little bit of work into it. Basically this would be more a of fun keyboard to mess around with and not care if I mess anything up vs my other keyboards. Also if it doesn't work out I wouldn't care all that much as I already have enough on my plate to keep me busy for awhile.
-
Damn UK, always getting the nice POS boards.
-
These are Cherry MX blacks, if you want one or two don't bid on it, head over to deskthority (http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1664) and buy it from the guy who wins the auction (it's a group buy thingy).

I'm pretty sure fossala has an account here, too.
Still, I think the 20euro or whatever people want them for on DT is too much for me, especially not counting shipping to the US. I'll see how this develops.
-
Yeah I'm here, I want to keep it to one thread over there though.
And I doubt they will end up at €20 each.

Heh, thanks. I'll just have to keep the DT topic up and refresh it periodically.
