I saw this mentioned at http://fingerfans.dreamhosters.com/ but I forgot if it'd been mentioned here.

Saw that on Reddit a while ago. It's a great concept and looks awesome but doesn't look particularly comfortable to type on. The mouse looks interesting as well, but again, doesn't look comfortable. I tend to have sweaty hands and holding something shiny/smooth like that wouldn't be ideal.

The title was going to be "Child eats parents, blames Nixon" but I thought it'd be too misleading. Guess it wasn't worth mentioning, though to the general public this would resemble what a future keyboard might look like. The community here obviously sees the problem with comfort and ergonomics, but the public is known for making bad decisions and would probably focus on aesthetics. This thing has 476 backers, about 300 of whom will be receiving the keyboard. $250 for an incredibly sleek and visually pleasing prototype keyboard or $300 for a topre board that few will give a second glance? Why do people keep making these flat, regressive keyboards?
