Hmm, I've never considered a Choc Mini before, but that photo + information on the keycaps makes me want one :-) I always thought that the non standard layout would kill it for me, but looking at it they have done a pretty good job. Unlike the SIIG Minitouch they haven't gone and put the Fn key where the left Ctrl should be, so that's something!

To the OP- I'm not sure of GNU/Linux compatibility, but hopefully someone on here can confirm. Not that it helps you with the Choc Mini, but I've used my KBC Poker under various linux distros (OpenSuSe, Ubuntu, Mint) without issue.

I've heard of people having issues.  I only used mine for a day or so with Gentoo and had no usage issue.  However the LEDs do not light with their appropriate keys (caps/num) because of the NKRO method splitting the LEDs and the related keys onto separate keyboard controllers

In had warranty card in the box from qtan. I dont know how Noppoo handles stuff like that though.

I can imagine it could stick with mx browns when hitting at the corners as it doesn't have any stabilizing.
