I already posted a WTB in the classifieds. I own a Filco brown at work and a Corsair K90. The K90 is going back but I like the red lightweight linear switch. Want me a Filco with reds dammit (preferably with ninja keys). If I recall the blacks require more force than browns. Is this correct?

Black does require more force (roughly 10-15g depending on the weight of the key itself)

Another distinguishing feature is that blacks are linear, with zero tactile "bump", while browns have a very minor tactile actuation. Reds are pretty much like brown in terms of actuation, but are linear like black (ghetto reds = black switch, brown spring)

From TS's post, it seems like he enjoy the linearity of Cherry Red.
My comment to TS is better get other brand of Cherry Red(Leopold/WASD/Rosewill) than risking to get FILCO Black as he may not like it later on. The Ninja things can always be purchased aftermarts(from other brands).

I remember Keyboardco (bruce) made a comment that filco might bring back red switch filcos in 2012, but not sure the exact post I got that information. So take that as a grain of salt for now....
