Hi all! New to geekhack here, I just bought my first ever mech keyboard, a Rosewill RK9000RE, a few hours ago. Plugged the keyboard in when i got home, and after about an hour of usage, the "R" key decided to stop working.
After it stopped working, i replugged the keyboard and tried to press "R" again, instead it registered "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Any remedies for this problem? I can get it exchanged but it's a really far trip to the shop, if it can get fixed then i will not exchange it (if it's possible to fix it)
Thanks!

Read the Wiki about cleaning the switch. First step is blowing canned air inside the switch and a general visual inspection.
If it's dead at least you get to deal with NewEgg.
Also remember: one faulty switch out of 104 on each keyboard out of like 1000 boards is pretty much expected. It may be a defect.
