Title: Ideas for a smartphone with a keyboard for a prepaid plan (CDMA)?

I currently am using a Samsung U740 for basic texting, calling, and its battery is lasting approximately 1.5 days on standby. I'm thinking about getting a smartphone that could work with Page Plus (it uses the Verizon network and doesn't like Blackberries or iPhones for some reason), ideally with Wi-Fi, that's <$100 once my battery starts to crap out. Any recommendations on what platform to consider (Android, Windows 7) and phones worth checking out? Since I'm a cheap bastard with phones, I'll probably go used to be contract free.
