Hello,
When doing internet browsing, which I do a lot, precision with the pointing device is unimportant. Since I prefer not using the mouse I have started considering mouse keys an option. In OS X the numpad is generally used for mouse keys, I see no way changing the assignments either. Is there a way of emulating numpad input on the HHKB or are there perhaps a way of reassigning the keys in OS X?

If it's mainly browsing you're concerned with, surely a better option is something like Pentadactyl (http://dactyl.sourceforge.net/) for Firefox? This allows you to use vi-like keybindings in your web-browser. There's alternatives for Chrome, not sure about Safari though.

In Firefox you can exclusively search links with [ ' ]. It's like ctrl+f, but only for links. Press [ ' ], type the link text and hit enter.

I don`t think Firefox is a viable alternative since I use many safari unique features such as, Reader Mode, Reading List and iPhone sync. Maybe I have to make a Safari port of Pentadactyl, though I`d rather just use the mouse than doing all that work.
