Title: Goldtouch SC2.0 Ergonomic Smart Card Keyboard
Post by: scriz on Thu, 05 January 2012, 12:23:44
Acquired this some time ago..have no use for it anymore.  Has been used quite a bit but still works great (typing on it now).  Anyone interested?

Asking for $100 shipped or trade for a mechanical keyboard of some sort (preference given to Reds or Browns in tenkeyless)

Your price range with the average user of ebay:

You're much better off selling this on ebay and then buying something off the users of geekhack.  Very rarely do any geekhack users want rubber dome and, if they do, they will want it new, not used.  Trust me, I tried to sell a used happy hacking lite 2 here a couple months ago that was in better shape than your keyboard here, did not go well.

Well then that makes all the difference, you should be asking $200 since it has a smart card reader and all.  Can't have enough of those!

Don't be an idiot.  Move along, troll.

Thanks for keeping my post at the top, though!

I think all we are trying to do is give you a reality check. No one is really horrible around here, just frank.

I think the thing you need to realize is that the Smart Card reader is not a selling point.  The people in the market for a KB with that device are not here.  They're not on eBay either except in extremely few cases.  SC readers are for corporate buyers, and they buy new.  Geeks that want an SC reader will find the cheapest option.

Just remember... there are times when 'all publicity is good publicity' is just plain wrong.

Guess I'll crack the keyboard in half and use it as firewood.
