On the 11th January Ripster will make his 50.000 post on Geekhack, by that time his ego will reach a critical mass with a distortion field so strong that it will cause a gravitational disturbance in the space-time fabric, reversing earths rotational axis and pushing our planet out of orbit into a collision course with the sun.

The predictions might have been closer if ripster's post count didn't seem to be going down.

I posted "in before 50k" and it was at 49,999. Now, days later, it's at 49,986. Unfortunately I didn't think I'd need to take a screen cap to post as evidence.
