Can u guys suggest me which one better or other keyboard? Coz I got the leopold fcr500 and I want feel the mini or compact keyboard now. And which one better for gaming?
-
I would say it depends what you like. I love my choc mini and it is fine for gaming. The white model has thick PBT keycaps which are also a bonus. But if you plan on trying to find a new set of keys that would fit completely; good luck as a lot of the modifiers are different sizes than a standard 87 key.
-
So that means the keycaps are hard to find?

The sizes are different than on a Filco, Ducky etc.. So you cant buy an 87 or 104 set and have them all fit. But again the stock keycaps on the white models are already very nice.

1st: Back-lit keycaps are rare(though KBT do sell white color replacement keycaps for Race)
2nd: R5 height F-keys are extremely rare
3rd: The layout is non-standard and a little odd

So for the peformance in gaming n typing and the durability which one is better?

I wonder how do we judge performance?
For durability wise(for keycaps in this particular case), the non-coated + PBT/POM keycaps on the Choc Mini should be the winner.(correct me if anyone who own KBT Race can prove that it is wrong).

Do the kbt works on mac os? Because there is a posibility I'm gonna change to mac. The noppoo don't work on the mac but I really like the white color
-
There is no n-key rollover for USB, so the keyboard is fully working under all major operating system.

So, supposedly it should work, also check here http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?26003-KBT-Race-75-White-LED-arrive-all-switches, Qtan should price the white/blue Races today :)
-
so is there any others compact keyboard?
-
keycaps on noppoo is nice looking

What does the % value mean???
Like this designation for example:
KBC Poker 40% Mechanical Gaming keyboard Cherry MX BLUE Switches W/ PBT Caps
40% of what??? :P
-
I imagine of a regular or bigger keyboard. I think..
-
anyone?

40% of the size/layout of normal fullsize keyboard.

Yea not sure about this percentage thingy either
20% = numpad
therefor filco, leaopold, realforce tenkeyless are 80%
Remove 5% from the filco tlk to get a PURE? Ye, they removed the 6pack cluster so I guess thats 5%
Removing the dedicated arrow keys would be another 5% so you would get 60%
But then the poker only misses the F1-F12 row and that surely doesn't make up for 20%

In fact, poker is also called 60% keyboard sometimes.

That would make sense.
-
but the size of the kbt said 75% n it's only the same size with the poker 40%
-
I thought the KBT have the function row which the poker does not have.

I'm not finding the answers to the above, though I seem to recall reading a more in depth explanation. The big question is: are the KEYS full size? Likewise on the Pure. Enshrinkened keys SUCK. Unless you are 7.
