Does anyone know of any affordable bags for carrying your keyboard? I go to LAN parties a lot and hate having to physically carry my keyboard in one arm rather than have a bag that carries my keyboard, mouse, and wires all in one arm. Specifically looking for a 104 keyboard length :x

Yeah , I would think the laptop backpack would be ideal. That or get a hard case for something like a flute and take out the lining if you want uber dork hardcore protection
-
Oh i was hoping there would be a bag specifically made to carry keyboards :[ i kept googling and it gave me results for piano keyboard carrying bags. I'll definitely look into the 17" laptop bags.

There are some, but they're hard to find, honestly. Most of them I've ever seen were directly in relation to Pro Starcraft (for instance, a friend of mine owns a KT Rolster (http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/KT_Rolster) bag) Another one a friend of mine owns is a Keyboad Quiver, which is this (http://www.falconsafety.com/dustoffzone/ProductDetails.aspx?ItemId=5)

You can try contacting Elite Keyboards. While they don't currently have a 104 length case, they do have these:

Maybe they will be able to help you out.

well there are the 2 that EK offers and basically the one Razer offers.
-
if you dont mind the colors of the razer bag, it looks like a good bag. reaper did a short review of it.

Here's a bag from noppoo, you can get one of this from taobao store
-
i've been meaning to buy an aluminum case for my keyboard, then hollow out some foam so it fits snug~
y'know, just trying to make my keyboard look as baller as possible. When you put enough time into any hobby, it's good to take steps to show you care about it.
-
enthusiast. :)
usually spent around an hour or more cleaning my keyboards from dust.
keeping them in the box feels like abandoning them, but leaving them out of the box will collect dust.
ouch
-
Noppoo mini in the mail. I have a big cushy bag to carry my laptop. I was going to just use this. I imagine the keys would occasionally get/stay squished. Would this damage a keyboard?

That depends. Are you traveling for 3 yrs straight and don't plan to take it out of the bag while doing so ?
Any spring will begin to weaken if it's held in a compressed state for long periods of time , but your average 2-3 hour flight shouldn't hurt it. My Glock magazines stay fully loaded for up to a year and the springs are still pretty strong in all of them. I would be more concerned with how it would be thrown around while in the back than i would by the compressed keys.
Also be wary of other items within the bag that might catch on a key or something like a pen/knife/hatchet/tire iron/axe. (cause we all carry these around in our travel bags amirite?)
My bags often have alot of debris in them as they double as camping bags, I would need a dedicated bag for laptop/keyboard myself.

cool. thanks. commute 45 min-1 hour on the road each way. Should be around 30min each way.... except Houston, TX, US. must have the worst drivers. Its almost like their brain stops working when they are on the road.
-
i have the noppoo bag it is frigging amazing, built solidly and has a lot of space inside.

Never mind on ebay
-
I think i'm going to get the quiver.. They have a promo code that reduces it from $45 to $25. Comes out to be $36 shipped to US

I thought the same and ordered three for my friends and I through qtan for $25 each. I havnt been quoted shipping yet but its usually not too bad through him.

I thought the same and ordered 3.
What a BOSS!
I almost ordered 2 but probably will get the leopold one for the realforce.

Cant wait to see what their like I just check out the pics that are up on ebay for them and its bigger than I though but since it carries a ton of stuff im not worried nor surprised. It looks like its built well which is something I cant say about the razer bag.
Same have a HHKB one for my HHKB and a Leopold for my realforce and leopold. Surprisingly its fit the realforce better than the leopold, like they made it for the realforce rather than the leopold.

I use a grey, semi-rigid rectangular Samsonite bag I found at a thrift store, with two pieces of open cell, (matching) grey foam. It's just the right size for my Model M's, has rings for a shoulder strap - and cost $4.00. I don't know what Samsonite intended it for, but it works great for keyboards. Thinkpad Fan

You could try Tt eSports Dragon Carrying Bag. You can carry all your gear with it, plus it looks cool. (IMO)
I believe it'a available on newegg, last I checked it was.

Look like its constructed well just a bit big for my tastes even the noppoo on is big in my book but that because all of these carry more than just your keyboard.
-
I like the Vortex bag...That bag+ my drivers cap (http://www.villagehatshop.com/kangol-tropic-507-ivy-cap.html)+ leather driving gloves=SmallFry is a boss.
-
lol after reading some reviews on the noppoo bag i changed my choice to qtan from the quiver to the noppoo. He offers it $5 cheaper than the seller on ebay. I gotta admit that TT bag looks nice but its as big as a normal backpack which i already have. Its also really expensive :[.

lol You mean SmallFry = BigFry. =D
And yeah, I also like that Vortex bag. Group buy anyone? =P
-
the vortex one looks good but what size keyboard is it for?
-
I'm also looking for a fullsize keyboard bag. One that can carry the rest of my gear (mice, mouse mat, external HDD etc.) would be a bonus.
I'd more or less thought that my options were limited to either the Razer or the Tt bags.
I can't really remember what the Tt bag looked like, but the Razer one looks OK. I'm glad they kept most of the flashy green inside the bag, so you don't look like a complete wanker when you're carrying it.
It looks like its built well which is something I cant say about the razer bag.
Could you be more specific about the quality of the Razer bag? Are you speaking from experience, or just what you've heard?
Also, 100 posts. Yeeaaauuhhh.

just the materials used and from the pics the noppoo look much better.
-

I believe it's for either the Poker or the Race.

Reaper: BigFry is my dad's nickname on Runescape when he and I used to play together. It was good fun.

Oh crap. Sorry I didn't know. Oh well, at least you have a cool dad who can play Runescape with you.

Did some looking around and this was the cheapest i could find.
http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/502196356-Original-Noppoo-Gaming-bag-Keyboard-bag-Brand-new-Fast-Free-shipping-wholesalers.html
I already purchased one but it'd be great for a group buy if anyone wants to save a couple of dollars.
-
You could always get a sneaky bag-
It's made for rifles, but has a divider. You could put your rifle in one side, and your TKL on the other. :D

I bet you could get a second divider and carry 3 keyboards.
OOOOOOORRRRR, you could just buy this case and keep your Krink in it.
-
i made my self one..its easy and cheap
i made it for my Filco but it turns out my 87U is fit too

Maybe it is time to get out the old sewing skills we all have?
The Question is, what are you looking for in a keyboard bag? What needs to fit? Only a Keyboard, or mouse too and other stuff maybe?
-
3 Noppoo's should be here in a week or so and I think that they will fit every need I have besides being totally solid.
-
I bought a Leopold Carrying Case together with my first Leopold Tenkeyless. I suppose the bag will fit other keyboards at the same size

-
My Noppoo came a whilke a go and i go some foam so a TKL will fit better
-
Here's one for $25. (http://www.dust-off.com/keyboard-quiver) My friend uses it for his das and he says it's great.
EDIT: whoops someone already posted it -_-
I still vouch for the case's quality though. P:
