Title: 3 TG3 BL82 Cherry MX Black w/red backlighting keyboards on Ebay

I know people are looking for these, basically the Data911 keyboard without the trackpad. Should be nice once the protective rubber membrane is removed, and they're USB, so there's no need to splice wires to get the backlighting to work.

All I ask is that you leave me one - shame they end seconds away from each other, too.

Tisk tisk. He used the same photos for all three of them which you aren't suppose to do. Can't tell which of them is in the best shape and such. I've got one with the trackpad, wish it wasn't there most of the time but I use it sometimes when with my laptop.

I bid on one the day they were put up, and someone bid over me when there was another with zero bids. I just hope no one drives the price of these up. I've seen palettes of these let go for about $10 each

Nice boards! More ergonomic for typing than the Touchpad version too! Be nice, don't shill bid. People who want these, snipe them!

I have done a lot of buying and selling on ebay, and it is arrogant and retarded to list several similar items seconds or minutes apart from each other, in my opinion. However, almost without exception, when I have said this to a seller, I have been barraged with scorn and "don't tell me how to run my business I know more than you do" type of responses.

As a buyer who almost always snipes (the only way to play, if you don't - you only screw yourself - because everybody else DOES) I rarely place proxy bids on multiple items.

There are 2 reasons: first, I don't have a lot of spare money to waste, and second, I usually only want one specimen of whatever it is.

So, in a situation where a seller lists multiples of what I want, close together, I play mind games with myself and usually place a single bid on one of the later items.

It seems that the higher bidders shoot their wads on the earlier items, and there is a better chance later. Some of the time, anyway.

As a seller, I have usually listed the "better" examples first, but often get the best prices for the second "inferior" ones, presumably from buyers irritated and irrational from not getting the first one.

In case anybody (seller) out there cares, if you have multiples of similar items not listed as "Buy-It-Now" (the only serious way to list) then place them at least 12 hours apart and give buyers the opportunity to re-evaluate between each "round" and you may find that you get better and more consistent prices for your goods.

As to whether to list best-to-worst or worst-to-best, you might even consider being totally forthcoming and saying "I have 4 of these to list in the next week, and this is the best of the lot"

OMG, someone being honest and truthful - amazing!

Yeah, I'm slowly figuring out the psychology of Ebay. I've snagged some nice deals through seller laziness, but I've also been disappointed.
I guess I'll set a reasonable snipe on one of these - I don't need it, but I like the size and backlighting. Cheaper than a Deck, too (same parent company, though).

Generally when people use buy-it-now they put prices that are higher than they are worth.

But I do agree that listing them that close together is pretty stupid. I would want at least 4-5 minutes apart, because that is generally enough to be able to tell if you got it or not.
