Title: DIY Key cap fabrication

Does anyone have experience making their own key caps? If so, what all is involved? It looks like you can do your own injection molding (e.g injectionmolder.net) if you're willing to shell out 1.5k. Is that the way to go? Also, it it possible to do your own double-shot injection molding?
