What does 'homegrown' mean ?
Does it mean it was made by GM in the '50s and runs on gas ?

Yeah, custom job for sure, probably late 70's early 80's. Doubt it would be compatible with modern anything, probably not even the caps. Neat 'museum piece' especially if it stays cheap. Love those old Ø zero keys.
