Title: At the armygroup demo retail store.

Currently at armygroup demo center in Taiwan. Tried topre switch for the first time. Not particularly impressed by it. Def not worth the premium in my opinion. Will be picking out a ninja black, challenging myself to get used to the black. Kinda liking the strong rebound of the key, but def. a lot more tiring to the fingers. Will see how I adopt to the black switch in the near future. don't have the camera with me so no pics of the store :(


EDIT: Managed to snap some pics using friend's HTC phone... the lens was probably pretty damn dirty.. lol...

EDIT2: I call it a "demo" store coz their main intention of the store is having it as a show floor. They had to have someone running to the warehouse to get the board I wanted.

I spy the Dragon Year edition Filco. Is it as ugly in person as in the pictures?

I only had a very slight glance at it since it looked pretty damn ugly on pictures shown on the website. I have to say it didn't look very appealing to me. I did noticed an extra red top case placed on top of the opened box dragon edition. I wonder if it is included.

That place is pretty decent, you can try many type of mouse.
As to Topre switches, like most people say, you need to give it a few tries before you like them. It's hard to like it straightaway

I think that red and black case is a Windy (Japanese brand).

Appears to be it. Thought it was either Windy or an Abee... damn nice cases, sooooooooooooo hard to get state side without selling your mother. :(

I don't dislike it and i'll probably love it eventually. However factoring the price into consideration, it doesn't really have that much of a WOW impact (well the price tag is certainly a "wow~").

That particular case, the front panel was a bit on the flimsy side... (a bit of a disappointment given the price tag of the thing). I was too tired at the time to give it a good thorough examination of the case.

I thought there was a German site that started to sell them...and prices were VERY GOOD if you consider how damn expensive they are. You may should try to have a look at it...

(sorry, can't remember even the name of the web, I know I read about it on XS ).
