Title: My Custom WASD Keyboard just arrived.

How's it going Geekhack? I've been lurking for the past week or two, and I decided to order myself a mechanical keyboard. I'll admit, the first few times I hit the keys I wondered if I was stupid to spend a whopping $170 on this thing, but now that I'm actually typing on it, typing on my G15 feels like typing on mash potatoes. It's all downhill for my wallet from here, goodbye membranes. :)

Nice setup you got there.  I'm waiting for a tenkeyless version from WASD.  Hopefully this year. lol

nooo, tkl for home to accompany your wasd. poker for lan events. choc mini in case poker gets lost, siig minitouch as third string!

Nice keyboard! I came from a G11 (which I hated from day 1 but I got it cheap so...) after getting a mech keyboard most rubber domes feel god awful. People buying G19 esque keyboards don't know what they are missing out on ;D. I took so long to adjust to the G11 as the spacing between it and my previous £10 logitech were so vastly different. I really don't have this problem on either mechanical keyboard due to the cherry switches..

Nice, i was thinking about having some orange in mine as well.  Is that dark grey/white? or dark grey/light grey.  I sometimes have a hard time telling from pictures.

If you're talking about the OP's, I don't particularly like the colours he chose, or the centered legends on the letter keys, but I didn't really feel the need to say so.

I'm cool with that. I love how modern/minimalist it looks whilst having a bit of flair. The grey/orange just really looks nice amongst the black sea of computer peripherals I own, but that's just me.

I like it. Retro, Model M style look, and the orange adds a bit of zest to it.

I went with black keys, (except blue WASD and orange esc) but I really like the look of the light gray/dark gray. It might be time for me to order some key set from him lol
