Just ordered one myself.

wasn't this on kickstarter? maybe CES, I saw it somewhere

It was on kickstart. There was a thread over on DT about it. Chording keyboards aren't anything new but they are trying to pass it off as their revolutionary invention.

It was on/at both. Didn't get enough funding on kickstarter, sadly (even with my contribution). That's the way to launch a new product, none of this marketing bs that another company (really can't be bothered to name) has put out.

Hm. Can't contact the seller about shipping, could someone proxy for me if necessary?

pm sent.

I want to see someone speed type on one of those. ==.
It just looks silly. Apart from being compact, I can probably type faster than he was with just one hand on my Full size keyboard.
-
Looks complicated.

I'll try the ItTypes out and report back - both good and bad.
It's amazing what you can get used to. Just look at the keyboard in front of you. Took me a long time to master it, and when my wrists were bad, it took me a long time to adapt to something else.
I know Thad Starner types at 60+ on a twiddler (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~thad/030_research.htm). So speed typing might be possible. To me it looks like a cross between the alphagrip and the twiddler.
I agree that it looks silly, it's why I like it. I'm not a big fan of the standard qwerty or even dvorak physical layout - if someone comes up with a different design I'm happy to check it out.

When I saw this on Kickstarter, I wasn't really... convinced of its proposed benefits. I'll wait to hear from real people using it.

Elmo's world.
Hahahaha!
It's so true! Yes, my day is filled with investigating all kinds of tat...
...Is there a cure?
[edit]
Aunty Rippy, I've been very remiss in not congratulating you on your '50 000th anniversary'. Congrats!
