As I mentioned in the other thread, shipping from AUS for a single one of these is going to be $65AUD (if you want tracking but it doesn't get much cheaper)

That'd put this keyboard at around $192 USD.

Yep, tell me how shipping for a Poker is $30 from Hong Kong, HHKB is $40 from US, but the other direction is like $70 :tape2:

Don't get me started on the way Australias marketplace bleeds its' people dry...

Edit: Citation: 3kg Satchel, Zone A, $73.20. (http://auspost.com.au/internationalpost/products/prepaid/eci/index.html)  I struggled to fit a Poker into a 3kg satchel last Wednesday. I'd rather put it in a 5KG with bubblewrap...

Didn't know at the time. It was an impulse buy just after my final exams because I felt terrible because I went so ****.

That's how most of my keyboard purchases happen, actually.

I still think $115AU shipped for this is a pretty damn good deal though, regardless of MechKeyboards.

Sorry to hear that m8.  I hope at least you have a keyboard that you prefer.  

Like, it almost fills silly for me to buy anything else after this Topre but I do want something more portable.  If the shipping weren't so outrageous, I'd be buying yours for sure.

I hit the nail on the head and got the HHKB :eyebrows: fits into any situation. Went to a public lan (Sydney Gamers League/SGL) weekend just gone and got a lot of comments on it. And it felt amazing while gaming!

Definately one of my favourite computer related purchases. Only problem is I have to flog my other keyboards to fund it haha...

Ah scrap that.. One bought MW3 instead.. :l and the other is dealing with my Leo w browns and his BW blues.. Mebbe, if I can convince him to sell the wretched BW first :P
