Title: Ducky Shine - Defaulting to a light setting upon power up?
Post by: haveblue on Mon, 30 January 2012, 01:07:37
When the computer is restarted, the keyboard goes into its unlit default mode.  Is there a way to set it so that it defaults into a set lit mode?

Nope. Only Razer Ultimate can remember it's last setting.

nope, the ducky shining does not have any memory to store backlit settings. you will get used to turning on the backlit. ive only had my shining for 3 weeks and its already a habit of mine to press Fn + F9 upon startup

Yeah was surprised about this when I first got my Shine... Not a big issue at all seeing I really didn't need the LED's during the day and easy enough to turn on at night whenever I needed.  Apart from having to manually turn on the LED's, the board is fantastic.

Good to know it is default off. I hate backlighting and I have a few boards incoming that have it (I would have bought it without given the choice).
