Title: [Price Check] RK-9000 for parts
Post by: 1uckyNumb3r7 on Mon, 30 January 2012, 10:33:39
I have a Rosewill RK-9000 w/ MX Blues modding project that I am abandoning. Board is still fully functional, I have removed the LED's and sanded the bezel because I was going to have a custom paint job put on it and put a laser cut plaque put over the LED area. When the LED's were removed I had to jumper the + rail to the controller because the trace was disconnected with the LED's out.

I was thinking of listing it as parts and was wondering what a fair price would be considering the mods done to it.

Hey i might be interested. Btw, is the board still working? or it no longer working and only has the Cherry MX Blue keyswitches? Can u send me a PM of a price u have in mind? I would like to continue your project lol.

In a simplier way, If i buy it, can i use it? will it work when i type on it. That the main point.

Considering it's still fully functional, I bet you could probably get something like $70-$80 shipped for it.

They are $80 brand new. $50 should be doable.
