Well it's late at night and after a quick search I didn't find anything. Are the WASD keycaps compatible with either a Ducky or Leopold? If they are I'm going to place an order for some custom keycaps to pimp out my keyboard before going to an SC2 tournament later this month.
-
Yes, they are.
-
Cool thanks, I was a little concerned about the stabilizers not being compatible.
-
AFAIK, they're not, are they? WASD are Costar-manufactured, while at least Duckys use Cherry stabilizers.
-
Doesn't matter what type of stabilizer. Only thing that matters is whether the space bar has the right spacing on the stabilizer stems. Every other keycap has standardized spacing for stabilizers.

Sorry but your op didn't state anything about stabilizers. I thought you were asking only about keycaps.

Not sure if the WASD spacebar will fit on a leopold.

They don't fit, you'll need to mod them for Leopold

Well I guess I'll find out the hard way, because I placed the order immediately after the first response and went to bed. Although I'd assume that the implication with keycap compatibility is concerning stabilizers seeing as all the regular keycaps should be compatible with all cherry switches.
-
No its not the stabilizers. The hole in the space bar where the stem goes is in a different spot on a leopold then it is on the other brands.
This guy sells pre-modded (if he has any) space bars or can mod yours.

Exactly the holes where the stabilizer stems go into are what I was questioning. That's still part of the stabilizers though.

I guess. But when you say it like that it sounds like every cap has a stabilizer then. Just clarifying.
