Title: Dota 2 beta key?

Does anyone have an extra dota 2 beta key ? Would really appreciate it <3 :high5:
I've played dota for 5+ years (yeah i know...wasted time)...so if anyone can help, let me know :)

I don't know if I can help you but I did receive an invite for it on steam, is there a way to give it to you without having to let you in my account ?

depends if you used it already, if you did then no you can't gift it anymore

If you didn't use it then you should be able to just gift it to whoever.

Yes, i guess what tsangan said is true. But also, I believe that after you "use" it, you get 2 more for your friends. I'm not sure this is correct...

Yeah it was something like that but only for like the first few batch of beta keys so those invites don't generate more invites.

The best thing you can do is to sign up for the beta and wait for a key.  There might be some contests where you can win one.   Great game, and you know it will be a success with Valve backing it.

Doesn't guarantee you will get in :D.  Best bet is to hang in there till open beta.

I haven't, I've gotten an invite that told me to download it in steam like a month ago, never installed it.

Erm if you try to gift something does it show anything in your inventory for you to gift? If not then I guess you can't ._.

I've checked on google, and apparently they give both giftable and non-giftable copies...

And it seems like mine is non-giftable : (.

It's a shame because I will probably not use it..
