Ebay item 260950343311.
From the pictures it's buckling spring but not IBM/Lexmark/Unicomp buckling spring: the keycap is different and so is the case. Yet it is too old to be one of the Chinese buckling spring keyboards that came out recently.
Or is that not a spring at all I see in the picture?

Wouldn't it be easier for everyone (including you) to post a link?

..
Okay, I'll do that for you....

looks like that keyboard is full of win!

I just feel so dirty posting ebay links, they are so full of cruft. Ah, here's a clean way to do it:

Those outside the USA still need to change '.com' to '.ca' etc.

Awesome keyboard. I'm a big fan of NMB switches. Very smooth and solid at the same time.
-
czarek, can you shed any light on what kind of switches this keyboard uses? From the photo on Ebay it doesn't look like space invader switches, it looks like a little silver spring under the keycap.
-
Thanks. So this is 'NMB black' which looks quite different from the space invaders in the other NMB colours (although it looks more similar once you remove the spring). What is the function of the sticking-out spring?

The function of the sticking out spring is to indicate that he removed the key cap improperly and may have damaged the switch. NMBs are notoriously finicky. Had he removed it correctly, you would see the characteristic "space invader" switch housing.
I'd give ncbound10 the benefit of the doubt, but then again it's ncbound10.

Funny. I don't see ed_avis on the list.....

Who are your challengers for the #1 keyboard expert position? If I vote yes now, can I change my vote if an even bigger expert comes along?
