You can't buy directly unless you have a bank account in China (maybe Hong Kong) and a South east asia address for the seller to ship to. You will need to use a taobao agent. Try obook or taobaobee or other taobao agents.
Aww bummer. Then how are people on here buying from taobao? I sometimes see people saying they ordered stuff from there.

Either they are from China/Hong Kong or they do it through an agent.
O2dazone and I have a theory:Show Image(http://o2dazone.com/y/viewImage.php?id=cfb2852ec83c5f0ce9b8f6804a65047b)
Hmm that makes sense. THESE (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?20464-What-did-you-add-to-your-Keyboard-today-Post-Your-Pics&p=505465&viewfull=1#post505465) are the caps I'm super jealous of, and they're not sold here. He is from Brazil (I've shipped stuff to him before), and he still got those that originated from China. Those caps were a GB from imsto who works for/at KBC and you could send any image to him and he makes it.
Anyone want to organize a group buy for those types of caps from Taobao? Or if someone could show me how to do it, I'm willing to organize a group buy for those caps (or anything else from taobao).
I recommended this site last week, before my whole profile along with all my posts got erased in the rollback of the forum, and even tho someone was crying about me doing promotion without first posting 400 posts on the forum.. i am going to do it again.. so there you go..
Because they offer the solution to this question, and i think it is important to give positive feedback where it is deserved. If this can bring them some business, good for them!
I have used their services, along with a few other agents, like taobaobee, which along with my profile also could have been starring in Arnold Swartzeneggers movie Eraser, since it just disappeared from the face of the internet, without any prior notice.
Anyway, is http://en-taobao.com (http://en-taobao.com) a good agent? I think so.. and here is why!
1. Good service fees 5-10%, (and the shipping discounts of 40-50% which most Taobao agents i have seen offer)
2. Supports both USD and Euro
3. They have a guide, with plugins and explanations on how to shop on Taobao on their site, which helps to understand what those diamonds and red and green % signs mean..
4. Great service. A very nice chick running the site.
5. I have ordered twice, and i actually got the stuff i ordered, which is not always the case when you deal online.. believe me.. i know..
Taobaospree.com is also a good one. I used that one before, and they also have very good service, but they do not offer Euro as a currency and they have a fixed service fee at 10%, so for me it is a lesser option, since i live in Europe. But i can recommend that one too. You will get your items..
Both of them are sites where you need to find the items on Taobao yourself, not like some others that crawl parts of Taobao and post products on their sites, like bhiner.com does, for example.
Alright, I hope this was helpful!

Is it really that hard to just use an agent?? The only issue I ever had was either items arriving damage/destroyed and/or things missing from packages. The actual ordering/payment was simple.Shouldnt be. Tbh I have spent more than 1k USD on taobao for clothing and stuff. Never had a bad experience form em. Mayb you are just unlucky/ you didnt pick the right seller.
