Doesn't look like I can make a poll so I'll just ask:
I'm thinking of picking up a KBC Poker, but should I get it with MX reds or blues?
I already have a Das with blues and a Filco104 with browns... Like the browns, but I keep going back to blues. Seems like the blues are my all-time fave so I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should bother to give the reds a try.. HELP GEEKHACK!!

I have Poker in both... so, the question is, what do you DISLIKE about the browns? Not tactile enough, don't like smooth switch go with blues. If you want something wildly different go with reds if you can find one. Scarcity of reds Poker may be the deciding factor alone at this time.

Reds and blues are my two favorite Cherries. Since you're buying a third keyboard, my guess is you've gone beyond simple utility and are buying because you love keyboards as their own end. :) If that's the case, go for the reds and resell if you don't like them. You'll take a price hit, but you'll know whether or not you like reds.

Yeah it seems pokers with red switches are hard to come by outside of Australia at the moment.

blue.
best switch ever

To me reds feel nothing like blues or browns, and in a bad way. I really like browns, so I thought that reds would feel good to me since they are both pretty light. Boy was I wrong. The reds are definitely worth a try though, otherwise you will never know, and if you're like me, not knowing is going to bug you. Trying reds and blacks made me really appreciate browns and blues even more.

All people have a different preference. Personally I love reds, and would trade my blues Poker for another reds one in a heartbeat. It's my favorite switch, and Poker is so far my favorite board, so cant have too many of that winning combination.

I originally bought a Poker with blues. It was alright, but I felt that blues didn't go well with a somewhat flimsy PCB-mounted board, and the click sound was resonating too much, and sounded different from row to row. I saw a member's ad wanting to trade his Poker/reds for one with blues, so we traded and I found myself much happier with the reds! My opinion is that blues are good in really sturdy boards, but in a Poker, a light switch is better. So my vote is for reds.

get both and then get rid of the one you don't like. You won't lose much from what you spent.

Reds with soft landing pads are growing on me rapidly. i hate blacks will never use them again. i have blues as well and like them for games. For a work environment reds are great.

Whatever switch you get, my advice is to get the poker with PBT keycaps. With that said, I woulda voted for red switches.

PBT makes that much of a difference?
I just ordered on TaoBao. I can say that out of 20 stores only 2 had red switches. so good luck finding red switches if you cannot order directly from Taobao. I heard from them that they would restock during March. you might just have to wait a while.

I love the smooth and light feeling of reds on my Kinesis Advantage, and prefer them to browns. Sadly I can't offer experiences with blues (or anything beside brown or red really) or the Poker.

Decide what switch you think you'll like the most. Then buy the poker with that switch, second.

I like reds! I don't like too noisy keyboards, but i never typed on blues.
typed on a KBC Poker with red switches

If you don't like the reds, you can sell them here and barley lose anything. They're in high demand right now.
I love my reds. Hate my blues, and still not sure about browns. It's all personal preference... but reds really are a much different experience from blues and browns. I recommend trying them at least :). And don't be put off by their initial hollowness... it's almost an empty feeling typing on them. For me, all other keyboards began to feel too heavy in comparison to my reds.
