Hi guys... I'm brand new here, but are you kidding? A forum for "Keyboards". Truly I could not believe my eyes, but the word "awesome" comes to mind.
In 1997 I invested in a new keyboard from "CVT Inc", which cost me "mega dollars" here.
I am still using this keyboard today as it still out performs every other keyboard I've used, but if I need parts for it ... can I just use any supplier?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Cheers

Avant Stellar... It's not in the vintage switch wiki entry. What kind does it have?

Thanks guys for your replies...
I removed the "Escape" keycap and this is what we have:

If you look closely you will see the letters "ALPS" along the bottom, so thanks "ripster you were right on the money there. So back to my original question... can I for example use "Cherry" switches or must I use "ALPS" switches. I believe the later model Avant Stellars used "Cherry"... someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
Cheers
