I am using a Belkin PS/2 to USB converter with my M4-1 trackpoint keyboard. The converter has two female PS/2 connectors (one keyboard, one mouse) and a USB plug.
It doesn't work very smoothly. Following a tip I read here, I connect the USB first, then the mouse and then the keyboard. This works on one machine, but I have not been able to get the keyboard to work via the converter on a Dell M90 laptop.
I see other converters advertised: clickykeyboards.com has one, although they do not specifically market it as suitable for IBM trackpoint keyboards. Any recommendations or anti-recommendations? I would like a converter that works with both the M4-1 and the M13.

I will read through http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=PS2-to-USB+adapters and revert if there are still unanswered questions.

(Mine is the Belkin F5U119vE1, said to work but with occasional resets)

Which Ziotec are you referring to? http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=4261

The second one looks similar to the one clickykeyboards.com have on their site.
