Hey, I know that keyboard!

However I don't consider myself a total keyboard geek.  Just #1.

I take it you don't have the board, if you're asking us to describe how it feels?

I can't help you, but I'd like to see some pics of the keyswitches and caps if you can get them.

A quick Googling yielded this (http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=600). I haven't got time to read it, I've gotta go back to work, but you might find something useful.

My link is better.  Those Deskthority.net guys wikis need work.

I haven't actually bothered to look at theirs yet.
The GH one has usually answered all the questions I've had, so I've not needed to look elsewhere.
I guess that means you're right.

Not that you'd ask I suppose, but if you want someone to proof-read any of the wikis, I wouldn't mind helping. I suppose its the least I could do to help out around here.

Bringing this thread back from the dead.

I found one in the trash a few weeks ago. It has that unmistakable rubber dome feel (maybe a bit more tactile) with slightly longer key travel.

Wonder if anybody is still interested / curious.

Mitsumi hybrid switches. It's a very common board.

Ah I see. Didn't expect these to be common anymore, given how long it's been. Plus it looks like something people would be inclined to throw away.

Some pics were posted on Deskthority (http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/mitsumi-t600.html) many years ago. Mine looks the exact same.
