It's a RK-9000RE. On windows, I plug it in and it works just fine. On linux, sometimes keys get stuck (not the physical keys, but you know what I mean…), I'm typing something aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the letter keeps repeating until I press another key. But this is not the only problem I have. Sometimes keys don't register, like I didn't press them at all, but I did. I first thought I was lagging, but no, it's the keyboard. Also, my other keyboards work just fine on linux.
keyboard works fine on windows
all my other keyboards work fine on linux
this keyboard doesn't work properly on linux
So what could the problem be? I'm using my leopold's cable with my RK, because I didn't like the braided cables it came with.
Does it matter?
Thank you.

What Linux Distro? USB or PS2 mode? My RK9000BR works fine on multiple Linux machines in both USB and PS2 modes.

USB, archlinux.

Are you plugging into a unpowered hub? Try a different USB port on the machine or a powered hub. Also check dmesg for any interesting logs about the device.

I'm plugging it into my monitor because it's too far away from the computer.

That might be your problem. They are often unpowered hubs. Worth a try, anyway.
