Title: Need confirmation: Is this a Cherry White switch?

Hi,
I need confirmation if this is indeed a Cherry MX White switch. At first I thought it would be a MX Clear but it clicks and needs quite some force to depress. Moreover, its stem consists of two parts, see attachments.
BTW, what's that little bumb next to the cross on the stem?

Nope, it isn't the normal Cherry White/Clear we saw. It may be related to Cherry Blue(stiffer variant of Cherry Green?), having a clicky sound.

Also can't deny that it may be a vintage switch(just a guess) that probably EOL already.

Another thing to note is this switch should be stiffer than Cherry Blue(by take a look at the spring). Try to compare to see if it is the same one we saw in Cherry Black or Cherry White. If both aren't, then maybe they are using the same spring like Cherry Grey?

Huh? (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_White) Clears and Whites are two different switches. Which reminds me that I've heard of new White switches with heavy springs.

Chinese calls the MX clear as whites. That's probably why he's confused.

Huh, has the two piece stem (like blues/greens), but the spring of a Clear. Perhaps Cherry MX White = clear spring + blue stem?

I got them from "Conrad", an European online electronics store. It is actually sold as Cherry MX1A-A1NN which is the the correct part number for plate-mounted Cherry White switches without LED. Cherry switch wiki (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Cherry+Corporation+Switch+Wiki)

I don't see them in the chart(last part of the page)? I don't find "A"(bolded above) in the list. The more common Cherry Clear should be with "C". Probably some EOL stuff?
I suggest you mass keeping some of them if it really are(EOL), as rare + vintage cherry stuffs having really nice price, LOL....

That chart also doesn't have brown or red switches.  Cherry has ignored that page for a very long time.

I bought one of every switch of them including white and clear. I would ripometer it but it isn't attached to a pcb.
