Title: Are there different kinds of PCB-mount stabilizers? Where to get them?
Post by: sordna on Sun, 12 February 2012, 19:06:08
Are there different kinds of PCB-mount stabilizers for cherry MX ? I know of the "cherry style" like the ones on my Poker, but are there costar-style stabilizers for PCB mount, or are they only for plate-mount?

Can anyone post part numbers of different kinds of stabilizers and sources to buy them from?

The cherry wiki is the first place I looked, but the stabilizers section (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Cherry+Corporation+Switch+Wiki#Stabilizers) is marked as work in progress. Unfortunately it does NOT list the different stabilizer part numbers, nor sources to buy them from. If you have any such information, please be so kind as to add it.

By the way, yes some early PCB-mounted stabilizers were bolted on. Modern stabilizers are just snapped on.
