Oh my god plz tell me you guys dont actaully buy keyboards like this http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/keyboards-mice/9836/ I mean my god look at the price tag. I guarantee the poor bastard who bought this thing didnt know about cherry switches.

I think those clear plastic boxes over the keys look very awkward to type on... Also, I've seen videos, and the flicker on those screens would annoy me very quickly. I think I've heard they are 12 FPS.

I love the concept, though, and I hope people continue to improve the design both in performance and in cost. Maybe the upcoming OLED TVs will drive that.

i don't think you understand what 12 fps means with regard to lcd panels.

i wish i could think of a use for the LCDs, but my hands would just cover them all day anyways...

the flicker is just from the camera. you'd get the same effect on a video of your computer setup.

I am a little confused about Ripster's post.

"Cost savings" does not seem to be high on their design specifications.

I don't see the need for any screen on a keyboard especially at 10fps for a color oled screen. I always like new ideas though. I think it's pretty awesome. I personally wouldn't buy it even if I had the money though.

I'd get it to show off all my WoW keybinds. Well infact I'd have the keybinds for all my games have nice icons. Tho It's probably much much much much cooler to get a keyboard for each game and purdy doubleshot/WASD keycaps on them!
