1) I have a set of 104 PBT blank caps that were originally white, and I dyed it all black. They were bought from qtan for $61 shipped, I never used them before the dying process. I just finished dying them today, so they're pretty much still "brand new". It's not exactly what I wanted, so I'm selling them. I spent ~10 hours to dye them. Yes that's right, 10 hours. Since a blank black set pretty much won't be in production anymore confirmed by feng (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?27232-Group-Buy-KBC-PBT-104-37-Keysets-for-Cherry-MX&p=517519&viewfull=1#post517519), I'm not in a rush to get rid of these. Because of the scarcity of these and the time it took me to dye it, I would like [strike]$70[/strike] $65 shipped for this set. You can follow my adventures on these caps here:

2) I also have a new TKL set of original Filco black ninja caps. I bought PBT caps before I even ordered my Filco (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?25121-first-keyboard-Filco-Ninja-tenkeyless!), so they were swapped out and stored when I got my filco on. Total usage is about a week, there are no shine on the caps. I would like [strike]$40 + shipping[/strike] (SOLD) for these.

After you dye the keys, does the texture feel different? Does it still feel the same as before you dyed it?

Thanks!

Texture is still exactly the same, it's still semi rough, the dye had no affect on the feel of the caps.

No idea why are these so dam expensive. Is it even black or brown? Ur picture in this thread show it is black but your fail rit dye are brown. Which 1 is true, If a new engrave set of pbt for 50$ why are these so expensive. I thought it reduced the price since it not original. Just a thought, hope u can provide some info or at least make it interesting for the buyer.

Lol not sure if you even bothered to read anything.
I wanted a grey and blank themed set, so I tried to dye a blank white set myself. Instead, they turned ugly brown, hence "failed" dye. But I fixed it by just dying the whole thing dark black. The picture in this thread is the final product. Now I'm selling it because all black keys is not what I originally wanted, although it's "fixed". As for the price: I bought a blank white set from qtan for $61 shipped. RIT dye and pans cost me ~$10. Shipping from me to you cost ~$3-5. Do the math, I'm selling these at a loss, and the 10 hours I spent dying these were basically free. Second, see if you can find a new blank black PBT set anywhere. That's right... you can't... they are out of production and won't be back any time soon as feng pointed out. Third, I'm not desperate to get rid of these, otherwise I would have sold them for dirt cheap.
