Title: Problem with Ducky Mechanical Keyboard, need help.
Post by: Shin on Sat, 18 February 2012, 17:26:43
I just bought a Ducky, brown switch, Blue LED backlight mechanical keyboard. It's great, the glow is awesome, the feel is quite amazing compared to a regular keyboard. I am running into one problem though that is sending me into rage on games.

I use X-Fire in-game chat with a friend while gaming. However, sometimes when I am chatting with him all of a sudden random keys get bound to "Shift+Tab" and I cannot use them again until I open on-screen keyboard and hit alt+alt.

I have no idea what may be causing this, it's brand new with no sticking keys.

More elaborate example: I go to type to my friend in X-Fire in-game chat and I hit the letter "D" it minimizes my game and X-fire chat to desktop like shift+tab would. So now whenever I hit D it'll perform as if it was shift+tab. It also will bind itself to multiple keys sometimes such as... D, B, 3, Z, K, S etc. It's random.

Anyone know what is causing this? It'll be appreciated to know if there's a fix to it or what's doing it.

test your keyboard out with this program to see if its a hardware issue or a software issue.
