thought I'd share this with yall

From the page:
- Keys switch: Mechanical yellow shaft
What switches does this have?
-
Apparently they're a cherry mx black ripoff

from the looks of it, it seems that the lettering on the keycaps are stickers?
-
Pad printed. Not exactly a great deal considering the price of the CM Storm / PLU-ML87.
-
I used to get one, and immediately sold it after trying. It's barely similar to Cherry MX black switch even though I think they are copied from MX black switch. Not a good experience to type on it.

This keyboard is programmable. Beats Filco, HHKB, and Realforce keyboards in that respect.

Yup, and that should be the only point for you to get it(provided you are lucky enough to get one that come with good controller that won't go fried after few weeks/month uses, which most cases does). Also, there is lots bad comment about the switches too for gone insensitive(worn) or even broken stems.
In short, that keyboard is a junk if you don't modify it and at that price, that is definitely a rip-off and NO to go for it(FYI, it only cost 230RMB in China, you do the maths).

You do the maths and add about 20 dollar for shipping..... Also consider the warranty or exchange issue. It is a junk other than you directly get it from a retail store so you have a warranty without consider shipping.

Dealextreme has always had free worldwide shipping.
-
I think you missed his point. If you were in China it'd be ~36.50 USD and then add in ~20USD to ship it to the US and that means DE is still pocketing $16 on top of the difference between retail and wholesale. And still not worth it.
-
You're right, I did miss his point.
-
Did this get taken off dealextreme? thought about checking this out but doesn't seem to be on the website anymore.

I just got a pad printed version of Rapoo V7. The version sixty reviewed had lasered keys.
