I received a Choc Mini with Cherry MX Brown switches over Christmas. I love it, and my girlfriend owns for getting it for me. :hail:
However, a few days ago, the grave/tilde key stopped registering. After some further testing, it looks like it will register if I hold the key down past the key-repeat timing.
I'm typing on it right now, so here's a demo.
Normal tap: (nothing)
Hold: ```````````````` (many graves!)
Any ideas? I love this keyboard. :(

Thanks! It is a very grave problem, especially for passwords! I've been lurking for a while now and checked the stuff in your sig, but couldn't find a general Cherry MX troubleshooting guide. Found it now.
Will report back, of course! I've never seen a keyboard do something like this in that it will register later, just not immediately. Probably just need to clean it out or dislodge some nerd dust.

Best new keyboard pun? :)

Resurrecting this thread because I haven't really done much to the keyboard other than spam the **** out of it and blow it out with compressed air, but I just noticed something peculiar and thought I'd report it.
I was playing The Old Republic, and noticed I had accidentally triggered my expanded pet bar. This shortcut is the grave key! I tried it again, and yes, single taps do work in The Old Republic. It still does not work in Windows, (doesn't even work in the chat frame in TOR) but at least I now know it isn't the physical keyboard. It's something in Windows.
