How many of you have this problem? How many of you cannot decide what keyboard to use?
At home, I don't have much of a choice during school terms because I don't want to wake my wife nor my daughter up at 4:00 a.m when I am studying. At work, it's a different story. I have even used a Model M at work without any complaint from my colleagues. I am currently using my Das with blue Chery after weeks of using a AEK, which is quite loud if you ask some.

It's the paradox of choice: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice:_Why_More_Is_Less (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice:_Why_More_Is_Less)

That's funny. I was actually thinking about Barry Schwartz when I started this thread. "Too many choices causes paralysis."

:D in a parallel world.....
We barely have enough choices for mechanical keyboards much less switch types in our area. LOL!

Not enough choices switch-wise. You have cherry, buckling springs, topre, ALPS and that's it.
I've tried all cherry mx switches and buckling spring. So far, I*haven't found the perfect (for me) switch.
I've read a lot about ALPS and they don't seem to be what I*want, so I'm not sure I'm going to try them.
Some day I'm going to create my own switches, my own mechanical keyboards, and you guys are going to LOVE them.

And you'll make the problem even worse :-)
