Title: Off my rocker...
Post by: Snarfangel on Thu, 23 February 2012, 17:59:53
This is kind of a random question, but I was wondering if 3-position rocker switches have ever been used in keyboards. For example, an on-off-on (which preferentially returns to the center position) could be used for Insert/Delete, Home/End, PgUp/PgDn, and things like that.

Of course, having multiple types of switches on the same board would increase the expense and difficulty of board design, but it would be an interesting (and different) design to try.
