That is pretty cool.
But metal domes must be quite a trick.
If it were really crisp I might get interested, but with such a short travel, I would need some sort of feedback to be happy.

It would be quite a feat and if it had a crisp snap to it I would definitely be interested. Probably wouldn't be much in the way of audible feedback. Rumors are this patent was filed for new macbook keyboards which, if true, would be good for us. I doubt it would replace my filco at the desk but it could lead to much better laptop keyboard designs. I really don't like chiclets keyboards though.
I'm far from an apple fanboy although I have migrated from a Blackberry9700 to an iPhone 4.

LOL -- check out the whole thing it's a little more than that. I do agree that some of these patent lawsuits have been ridiculous lately.
