This might be old news, but I found it kinda interesting. Link (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/12/02/23/apple_wants_to_reinvent_keyboards_making_them_even_thinner.html)
Have anyone made any thoughts about this yet?

I'm no touch typist, but I can't imagine 0.2mm key travel being very comfortable to type on.
The glass and polished meteorite ideas are intriguing though...

cherry mx polished meteorite key group buy inc?

I imagine that, if my encyclopedic knowledge of meteorites (gained from watching Meteorite Men on the History Channel) is correct, polished meteorite as a keyboard material would be pretty expensive...

It's pathetic, "reinventing the keyboard" while keeping the HORRIFIC mindless appalling counter-productive zig-zag staggering, as if there's still typewriter pushrods to accommodate.
