Why is it that
WASD keyboards Is always seen as high quality on par with the best like filco

but Mionix is always seen as low quality

Then comes TT esports meka G1 which is also seen as high quality

And last is Ozone strike which is seen as low quality

Aren't they pretty much EXACTLY the same just with different branding?
And then theres also xarmor that is seen as low quality while qpad is seen as good quality.

Elitism.

Or fanboism.

Somebody said Qpad and Thermaltake was high quality?
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha........................
Yes I think it was someone with a old cartoon cat avatar that said that
-
Hmmm.. Good question. But I think with the Mionix, it's probably something to do with the keycap quality. There's already reports and photos of the caps wearing through. Plus the lack of any switch choice other than Black. But saying that, it is the same OEM board.
-
Subjective personal perception and prejudice.
-
I don't get it either... same oem, same board, same is same. They are all presumably rolling off the same assembly, same MX, same pcb, same body. Different keycaps though and brand name is all that set it apart really. WASD dosen't have the usb and audio pass through, Mionix is backlit, only significant differences.
Same goes for Filco, CM, Rosewill. They are all so similar I don't get why pay 33% to 50% more for one over the other.
Xarmor, Qpad, iOne, Tessoro, Adesso, insert random re-branding, they are all equally the same build quality as well with the same faults.
Leopold, Archiss and Keycool, maybe some others, which asides from what seems like a slightly lower qc on the Keycool are pretty close as well for almost half price.
Some of it is brand awareness, some is the idea that more expensive is automatically better which is not always true.

Better ask J.D. Power to do an Initial Quality Study.

Some have said you were high quality too. People make mistakes.

Over 200 people disagree with you.
Click my sig for details.[/QUOT
I voted for you too.. But your knowledge about keyboards has nothing to do with your quality as a human being.

No point in arguing with ripster, some feuds aren't worth the time.

Then wouldn't Filco be low quality? ABS with pad printing. Not even good ABS, it is thin (,although that is how key caps are these days,) and shines fast.
I'm guess it is fayboyism, and marketing.
You state of mind changes how you perceive things.
In short, McRip effect.

I agree people seems can't make out their own mins these days. As long the product is market to seems like high end and more expensive people with think it is higher quality. Also, the fayboys just make it worse, it is like a snowball effect really.

Despite the ABS keys, the Filco keycaps are .9mm in thickness vs SP and KBC(thin)'s .8mm. Besides that, who doesn't like the italicized futura font?
