Why would they be different? What other switch color starts with R? They're the same.

Well in Australia we know when we're flogging a dead horse and we move on to more interesting things.... Like your Lego collection.

But I thought you took pride in irritating the senior GH'ers.... But what I want to know is, why Germans?  I thought they of all people would appreciate the structured nature of Lego?

I do wonder if they'll bring back the reds soon (back on topic).

Ah I see... so what you're saying is that to enjoy Lego as well as Filco Red's (see what how I just stayed on topic just then??) you have to at least have a sense of humor??

Ripster! I caught you again talking like that about germans!

Since we love staying ontopic:
I'd love to know if there is a big difference between reds and browns when enthusiastically hacking away.
I have a Filco MX Brown, is there a noticable difference? I feel like my keys become a cloud of boobs once my hands are warmed up...

Not sure about the Danes.  They invented Lego after all.

You have to understand the German personality.

I know it well.

The Dutch are like Germans - efficient, blunt and focused.  However they have a sense of humor.

Quote from: ripster;530828
No.  To enjoy life don't be born in Germany is my point.

Doesn't their leader look like a ball of laughs?

Quote from: ripster;530835
The other thing is all Lego Females are perfectly flat chested.  Germans don't like that.

Quote from: ripster;530933
Germans even pick morose Adele wannabes for Eurovision 2012.

Instead of peppy 2011 winners.

Don't Germans sing any more in German?

What's with that?

Why don't you stay on topic as you said?

Limited R are still sold in japanese layout at Keyboardco.

Correct.

They produce red cherry for limited edition only. they don't do the normal version. that is now what I'm understand. correct?
and any different between the other switch. I mean more solid, extra feature, etc. or just the high price?

(anyway Nice troop in pic)

The local distributor informed me that Filco will be releasing another version with red switch some time this year. Let's hope this is true.

OCD perhaps, but could you edit the title of the thread to Filco from Fico, unless we want to talk credit scores.

Regarding switch differences, the brown switch has a light bump in the key press, this is what gives it that "tactile" feedback.

MX red switches have the same actuation force as a brown switch. However, they are a lighter version of the "linear" MX black (45g vs 60g). They don't have that tactile bump like browns have. Instead you have a very light, smooth keystroke.

And from where do you take your baseless claims?
Did you know Legoland is based in Germany?
So tell me again please that Germans dislike Lego :P

LoL but you cannot assume that because a few people dislike Lego 99% of the Germans do.
Further I am Austrian so I prefer you do not refer to us as simply Germans. We are Austrians that speak german. Not Germans! ;) Or would you refer to Americans, Canadians, Australians as British because they speak the same language?...
Plus I love Lego. And I can assure you I am not the 1%! :P
lol @ all your baseless are belong to us comment xD

edit: Germany outlaws anything that has to do with Nazis. Even games that use nazis or hakenkreuze get licensed and cut. Either the developer changes the game specifically for Germany or they won't allow it to be sold at all! Austria doesn't do that though ;) We get everything uncut xD
