Title: can you identify this keyboard?
Post by: KLIK on Sun, 04 March 2012, 12:58:27
Can someone identify this keyboard? I got it from a friend. There's only one number on the back.
I wonder if it's compatible with a PC, because I don't want to damage my motherboard.

Oh, you mean the OTHER one.

Looks like some generic AT clone.  Have you plugged it into a PC yet?  Use a PS/2 port.  They are fairly useless these days.
I'd actually guess WYSE for that one as well.

Looks like it might indeed be XT or AT compatible. Either should be perfectly safe to connect to PS/2, but only AT will work.

Could you post a close-up of the corner with this big chip, resistors and cable connector?
