Title: New design: “Throwback”

“Throwback” features large, easy-to-read legends in a slightly extended, retro Helvetic-alike font. Icons maintain the essence of keyboards gone by while offering a balanced design. The Menu key displays a promiment “8-bar M” for those who know their roots.

This Adobe Illustrator document contains key layouts for USA QWERTY, Dvorak, and Colemak, and control key layouts for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Initially that scanned as “Rand Paul” and I was incredibly confused as to when the gentleman from Kentucky had any influence on anything.

It is unfortunate that his work on the IBM corporate identity stands out among the rest primarily for conveying the idea of “giant faceless corporation.”
