So I recently ordered the Penguin Vertical Mouse to use for playing Battlefield 3 and came to the conclusion that vertical mice are just not good for fps gaming. I have tried other vertical gaming mice in the past like the Monster Gecko Pistol mouse and the Zalman FG1000 FPSGUN mouse and both felt a little awkward when playing FPS games due to the fact that you are using your whole arm to move around instead of your wrist. Precision was not there. So, I will just accept the fact that there are no ergonomic gaming mice for a reason. I will just give up gaming. I am still on a quest to find the most ergonomic pointing device for regular computer use though.

so I assume that means you don't really like the penguin mouse for non-gaming?

For non-gaming it was nice and smooth. But I only tried it for a few minutes. I didn't keep it for non-gaming because I wanted something with a smaller footprint. Also, because the standard size was to big for my hand.

And I thought your primary complaint was going to be about the sensor...
No issues with acceleration or liftoff jitter or so forth?

Can't really say because I only used it for about five minutes to play BF3 and moved the cursor around the desktop a little then I disconnected it from my PC and repackaged it.
