Anyone here know if this is a bug?
Can any owners of this keyboard let me know please I am merely doing something wrong.
Apparently "To record two or more events at the same time" I must right click on an event and use the "split" option.

However that option is grayed out (greyed out)

Considering my Microsoft mouse comes up as "Unknown magic device" when I plug it into my PC, I can't vouch for intuitive or well-rounded software let alone correct integration with Windows coming from a Microsoft team... I won't hate on the SideWinder specifically, but at some point you should just start looking for 3rd party software. That's the only way to get things done in Windows, afterall.

Maybe you can only split certain events, say timed presses, or non-modifiers, or whatever?
Or maybe you can only split when there's more than one event in the macro?

I was trying the split option on the SHIFT key because that is the one used in the help example. It turns out that sometimes the trim option does appear. My advice to others is to type some more keys because eventually one of them will allow the split option. This seems to fix the problem. You can then clear the box and start again and it should work for every key. That is working so far, but I may be lucky - the workaround may be more erratic than that.
I am tempted to ring MicroSlop and report the bug but dread a long phone queue.

Haha! Yeah, sounds like a bug then lol. Good that you found a workaround.

An MS guy responsible for the X4 posted on here a few times - Paul Dietz. Not sure if he'd appreciate a PM, but you could try bumping one of his threads to see if he pops up.
